the light and compositing push the color in the yellow: it's the vision of the fish that spend all his life in the water: so outside of the water all is more yellow. It's the morning so the color are over saturated!
There is a lot of pollution (that's the reason the fish escape from the water.
The set around the characters can always be changed when there is no interaction with them and if it corespond to the logic of the space.
The more the fish is going to the city (in fact he goes to the desert!?! ) the more he will project his own vision, his dream over the reality: it will appear blue and utopic like the water was in a long past before...
So the compositing will add all the details possible to present the ideal vision of the fish that is lying to himself to make his dream believable until the end...
